About Me

O.F.O became my design company in 1990. It started in France as an /interior design company, then "functional furniture " was added , when O.F.O started importing its designs made out of raphia and Zébu horn from Madagascar O.F.O opened in the United States as well as France. Through the years Only for originals has been a company dealing in Original designs of some sort.

Now, Only for Originals would like to show its collection of "sea art".

Triffie Hout , the owner of the company was inspired to incorporate shells in her designs and paintings by Andrew Login, an English designer. One of Andrews collections was made of broken mirrored glass and she owns a piece. Joni Mitchels song "Both sides now" where Joni sings of what

she sees in Clouds was also an inspiration "Bows and flows of angel hair, ice cream, castles in the air and feathered canyons everywhere ....

Triffie saw in the sand washed by the oceans waves and sprinkled with treasures of the sea what Joni saw in the clouds.

Hence "Triffie's Truc's" which means creations or "things" in French was born!

Triffie finds that having a good sense of humor is a very important element in having a happy life , many of her pieces are playful and funny. Triffie would like to share with you what she sees in the sea.
